Fracture Studies

Fractured reservoirs are commonly evaluated with borehole image logs. We can identify many different fracture types and qualities from image data. From the image data, our interpreters classify the fractures into several different groups:

Open Fractures
Large Fractures
Healed Fractures
Drilling Induced/Enhanced Fractures


Also, different fracture studies are undertaken where we quantify, analyze and group fractures according to any of a number of different criteria:

Fracture Aperture Analysis
Fracture Density
Fracture Connectivity
Fracture Grouping (type 1, type 2 etc.)
Fracture Porosity
